Yogis believe in re incarnation.  Each incarnation having a very specific dharma or life’s purpose requiring fulfillment to cease the cycle of incarnation.  This causes a lot of suffering because if you ask most folks why they were born; they simply don’t know.  The following is a contemplation and exercise for you to do daily to enliven your dharma in your consciousness.

First, when you wake up every single day say the following:

  1.  Thank you I woke up today.
  2.  How can I help, How can I serve?

Dharma is most quickly revealed through a daily meditation practice.  Your meditation practice can also begin with the questions, “How can I help, How can I serve?”

Now answer the following:

  1.  What is your legacy?
  2. If you had the world’s attention for 2 minutes…everyone was listening…what do you want the world to know?
  3. What community or world events are you most passionate about?
  4. Since March, what have you done to help others?
  5. Is there any type of injustice in the world that keeps you up at night or motivates you to give to charities?
  6. What types of people do you love to serve?
  7. Have you experienced any hardships in your life that have changed you or helped you to grow?  Do you share these with others?

There is magic in the practice if you utilize this before your meditation and place your attention on it daily.  Very soon the Universe will start to send you the correct people and situations where you can actually help.

Peace, Pamela
