It’s day 24.  I’ve had my ups.  I’ve had my downs.  Some things have gone well. Some have not.  Angels have appeared as well as demons.  Stepping back from it all… I have been Conscious.  That’s huge.  I have not unconsciously done anything in the last 24 days…be it good, bad, or neutral.  I am highly aware of my mind.  Highly.

Weirdly, all this has let to a total acceptance.  I find I am not battling me.  I’m just present with myself and my mind.  I am not beating myself up.  I find I am watching, observing, and holding space for self and others in a much more neutral fashion.  I’m embracing my emotions as they come up, releasing through writing and talk, and then moving on.

I’m actually watching the drama as it unfolds and it is fascinating.

So, I’m gonna try to be as clear with this as possible and I just pray you can hear/feel me.

There is a path.  There is a plan.  You are on it and it is being implemented.  Your daily choices affect your health and your experience of this path and plan.  If you live 4/10th consciously and 6/10th unconsciously (and that’s not a lot of consciousness, right?) , I am convinced you will still realize your dharma…and I’m convinced you will live 10/10th consciously ultimately.

All the crud inbetween is just crud.  It’s a TV show.

So, esoteric as that is, you need a practice:

Here I go:

  1. Call a good friend.
  2. Ask them how they are.
  3. Let them talk about their life.
  4. Find the archetype they are playing out….victim, martyr, hero, defender, lover…
  5. Relate it to a story from a movie or book you have watched or read.
  6. Lay down
  7. Ask yourself how you are as if someone else is asking.
  8. Talk about your life to your imaginary friend.
  9. Find the archetype you are playing out.
  10. Relate it to a story from  a movie or book you have watched or read.
  11. Create an ending that appeals to you.
