Of course it’s Sunday so I pittered around all morning and ran out of time for a proper breakfast (LACK OF ROUTINE) before Kundalini yoga and when I went to grab my last minute standby (APPLE) there were none because my Golden Retriever had gotten on the counter and eaten all of them and three avacados (LACK OF DISCIPLINE AND LIFE OF CHAOS).

Now I hate dried fruit, but I bought a few bags for snacks because when I teach my 28-day Elemental Cleanse, my cleansers who like to snack love dried fruit.  (OPEN TO ADVICE).

Let’s back up to last night….  I went out to dinner (EXCEEDINGLY HARD WHILE CLEANSING).  My dinner of couscous and veggies arrived.  Veggies were gross and overcooked.  Couscous was bland.  Went home hungry.  No problem…eat a bag of dried papaya. Flash forward to this morning….No apples…no problem.  Eat a bag of dried apricot. (I’M NEW TO DRIED FRUIT…DON’T JUDGE ME.)

At Kundalini, Andrea Ciafardini taught a wonderful kriya that stimulates the lymphatic system.  It felt great.  She warned us afterwards that some people get sick after this kriya.  Remember how my Spiritual quest this week was satya or truth?  In other words, does the inside of you and the outside of you match?  Well, today I’ve gotten to really find out and I just pray I don’t look like that to others.

I don’t know if it was the overindulgence in dried fruit or the kriya, but let’s say on day 7 I feel truly cleansed.   Thanking God again for yet ANOTHER lesson in moderation.
