oh my…..it’s another yoga fail.

Let me start by saying  this was one of “those days” for me and I strongly believe that my glasses are less than rosy and I should just sit on all of this.  That having been said, I have to share.  So, I was invited to go to an organization that shall not be named to teach leaders of the organization to empower their underlings with tools for managing stress and enhancing performance.  Easy Peasy!  I came prepared with breathing modalities, relaxation techniques, and of course, meditation.

It was a dynamic presentation on all levels.  I was well-prepared.  I was charming.  I know my stuff.  I looked professional.  I mean…I do this for a living.  I can work a crowd.  I do this all day.  This is what I DO!  AND I’m passionate about it which is usually enough to rouse some interest from anyone.

They would have none of it.  They didn’t participate.  They couldn’t sit still.  They were watching the clock.  They were rolling their eyes.  The hostility vibrating off of them because I had showed up to take psycho-babble BullS#$t adding to their already busy day was so intense.  Imagine teaching someone to meditate who will not close their eyes, will not sit still, will not breathe, and who thinks it’s crap.  errrgggggg.

…and then I took a breath in and that’s when I realized that they were working in hell and I was simply joining them in hell.

Driving home, I thought to myself that someone should really do something about that work environment.  Then I realized that I’m someone.  I’m gonna keep going back.  errrggggggg
