If you are running too hot, we need to cool down your Fire…Symptoms of too much heat include acid indigestion, heartburn, acne, and being loose in the potty. 

EMBRACE                          AVOID
Skip breakfast and drink warm milk or soy with 2 teaspoons ghee and honey instead. Pickles, yogurt, sour cream and cheese (these are sour).
Eat your meals either cool or at room temperature.  Do not eat steaming hot food. Limit alcohol and caffeine
Cut out butter and fatty foods from your diet  (do use ghee) Red meat, egg yolks and seafood (you can eat shrimp)
Favor bitter, sweet and astringent tastes.  Bitter and astringent are very important and can be found in salads and legumes. Fried foods
Drink organic or soy milk and treat yourself to an occasional ice cream Processed and fast foods
Add tea to your diet in the form of mint or licorice root. Peanut and mustard oil
Buy some fresh mint and put it in a pitcher of water to keep in your fridge.  Drink lots of it. Sour fruits such as grapefruits  and pineapple
