If you are running too hot, we need to cool down your Fire…
- Moderation is the key to cooling your fire. Practice moderation for 3 weeks. Do not take on any new projects. Say no to the next 5 tasks that come your way.
- Reassess your routine. You like one so get one! Schedule exercise and relaxation.
- Take time to wind down after you complete any activity. Just sit still for 5 minutes and close your eyes and breath or sit outside and just relax.
- Eat your meals and drive in silence.
- Enjoy nature. Just sit in the shade and relax.
- Surround yourself with cooling colors such as blues, greens and whites.
- Give up intense physical activity and prefer gentle walks and yoga
- Meditation is key to balancing the Fire in your mind.
- Start a journal practice. Many Fire types have difficulty communicating their feelings. Just write it down instead.
- Surround yourself with soothing scents of lavendar, sandalwood and rose.
Avoid…
- People who make you tense or have high activity
- Telephone, TV, stimulating music and discussions
- Crowds
- Sun and heat
- Artificial stimulants
- Strenuous physical activity
