This recipe comes to us from Jennifer Kagy who is an exceptional pastry chef!
This recipe makes breakfast for 1.
- 1 CUP WATER
- ½ CUP OATMEAL
- DASH SEA SALT
- ½ CUP FROZEN MIXED BERRIES (Raspberries, Blueberries, Blackberries)
- 2 TBL FLAX SEEDS (OPTIONAL)
- SWEETNER TO TASTE (OPTIONAL) Honey, Maple Syrup or any Whole Sugar
- NUTS such as almonds, walnuts (OPTIONAL)
Make:
1. Combine water, oatmeal, and salt in a medium microwaveable bowl.
2. Microwave on High for 1 ½-2 minutes
3. Add frozen berries. Microwave for 1-2 more minutes or until berries are
melted.
4. Stir, add flax seeds and/or sweetener & nuts if desired
5. Enjoy!
Once you add the berries and cook, the raspberries melt and it becomes a beautiful pink purple while the blueberries and blackberries are juicy and delicious! ~ Jennifer
