New to Yoga?

Namaste and Welcome to House of Bliss

How many new to yoga classes should I attend before moving to another class?

The only difference between a New to Yoga class and a gentle yoga class is the ability to take a pause and really break a pose down for a student. Many of our students stay in New to Yoga forever because they love the pace, the time offered, or the teacher. Do plan for at least 4 classes to learn the basic poses.

Please arrive no early than 10 minutes before class begins.

Do download the FitDegree App and search for Elemental OM. Pre register for you classes up to 2 weeks in advance. Registration closes one hour before class. You must pre-register for class.

What do I do if I am running late?

The door locks at 5 minutes after class. If you arrive within this window, please come in very quietly and just pause for a moment. If the teacher is opening in meditation, just wait a bit. When movement begins, quietly enter the room and quietly roll out your mat.

Wear loose and comfortable clothing.

Shoes and socks are not needed for yoga.

Each class is $20 or select from a membership.

New To Yoga?

Most Yoga as taught in the West focuses on a challenging physical practice. We are not that kind of studio. Elemental OM yoga is designed for those who are new to yoga and focused on health, wellness and spirituality.

New to Yoga is for the person who has never practiced yoga, has limited mobility, or has not practiced for an extended period of time. The focus is on breath, relaxation and learning basic postures. These are teaching classes where you learn the language of yoga, poses, lifestyle and yoga philosophy. The classes are designed to make you comfortable and feel welcomed.
