It’s our final day of our Teacher Training retreat weekend getaway to Hope Springs Institute in Peebles, Ohio. We’ve called in the transformative energy of Kali by fire in the Spirit House. We’ve moved our bodies with the Green Goddess in the round studio. We’ve walked the labyrinth, meditated, and eaten the best food on the planet. Some have been visited by ghosts and spirits, but mostly we have simply enjoyed the etheric energy of the crystal clear skies and gorgeous stars welcoming solstice.
The Hope Springs getaway is my favorite part of teacher training. This year we spent most of our time having fun, planning for our new coaching businesses, and practicing our new coaching skills. I’m proud of this group and all they are accomplishing, not just from a yogi teaching perspective, but also the hard work they are doing on themselves. Even more inspirational is to see them so lovingly engaged with each other, deeply listening, and deeply understanding.
They already are really magical healers and teachers. We have 5 months to go, but I have a feeling these last 5 months will simply be fine-tuning the skills they have so quickly assembled.
Our next training begins in March of 2015. It’s hard to think about this ending and the next one starting. I’ve made really good friends and have loved being with them every Tuesday and now for this long weekend. My prayer for next year is the Universe simply send me healers who want to help and serve. Just like this group…no physical prowess required. If you are suffering, that’s awesome…you will find yourself in a sacred space to heal. If you are lonely, you will make friends. If you need love, you will be filled up.
OM,
Pamela
