Do you need a sweet treat that is healthy and yummy to pick you up! Make these, wrap them individually in plastic wrap and store in the freezer for those days that you don’t have time for breakfast or need a pick me up!
Ingredients:
- One very ripe Banana all mashed up
- 1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1/2 cup Any dried fruit you love (raisins, cranberries, dates, figs)
- 1/2 cup Syrup (Maple or Molasses or HONEY)
- 1/2 cup Any Nut Butter (peanut or almond)
Optional and awesome:
- 1/2 cup any nuts (pine, peanut, almonds)
- 2 Tbsp. Flax seed
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
Get Creative…. think about adding essential oil of Lavender, Orange, Lemon or Cinnamon.
Directions:
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend. If you are using nuts, put those in first! Note that this is a too taste kind of bar. If it is too dry, add more Nut Butter or Syrup. If you add figs and dates, this will make them moister as well. Shape into a bar, wrap in plastic, freeze for later!
